THE LOOK SHOW RETURNS TO LONDON FASHION WEEK – DUE TO PHENOMENAL DEMAND!

September 10, 2010

Look show Showing Autumn/Winter Collections From 11 Top High Street Retailers In The Only Catwalk Show Open To Consumers During LFW

Look – Britain's best-selling high street fashion and celebrity style magazine – is bringing all the style of London Fashion Week to the UK's fashion-hungry young women once again this LFW after unprecedented demand for tickets last time.

Following its hugely successful debut at LFW in February, The Look Show returns with another glamorous catwalk event exclusively for consumers at London's Saatchi Gallery on 17th September 2010.

Look senior marketing manager Tara Steadman says: “Tickets for the debut Look Show in February were massively over-subscribed, and demand for a follow up has been ceaseless. Styled by Look's expert fashion team, the September show will also feature a star-studded array of catwalk and entertainment talent, and will be covered extensively in the magazine and at www.look.co.uk. The Look Show is genuinely unique: bringing UK consumers up close and personal with London Fashion Week.”

The Look Show will continue the ground-breaking agenda it established so successfully last LFW.
• It's the only fashion show open to consumers during London Fashion Week
• It's the only high street fashion show to feature clothing available in-store and online straight after the show, rather than next season
• It's the only fashion show to unite 11 of the most popular and iconic brands on Britain's high street today: Dorothy Perkins, French Connection, H&M, Marks & Spencer, Mango, Monsoon Fusion/Accessorize, New Look, Next, Oasis, River Island and Warehouse

Look editor Ali Hall says: “The essence of Look is our desire to make fashion accessible to all women, and with The Look Show we are making London Fashion Week more relevant for our readers than ever before. The Look Show at LFW will ensure that an array of hugely popular high street brands get to flaunt their unique style with the kind of exclusive collection preview we know our fans will love.”

The spectacular runway show will see the eleven retailers showcase their hottest Autumn/Winter collections to a star-studded front row, featuring high-profile faces from the world of fashion, music and celebrity.

Stylish singing sensation Diana Vickers will also be the face of this season's Look Show. Diana will perform alongside Gabriella Cilmi and hot new American band The Like.

Hair will be styled by London Fashion Week Official Hair Care Sponsor and renowned hairdressing brand TONI&GUY. While cult beauty brand Benefit Cosmetics will be on hand to provide the make-up for the show's 24 models, Jergens Naturals is the show's official body care partner and Marks and Spencer will sponsor the Champagne reception. Once again this exciting event will support the Look Good…Feel Better charity, an organisation created to boost the confidence of women suffering from cancer.

Look publishing director Julie Lavington adds: “The Look brand is phenomenally in-tune with its readership – it is the biggest selling fashion magazine in the UK, selling over 15.5 million copies to the UK's fashion-hungry young women every year. Innovation has always been at the heart of Look's success and The Look Show is a shining example of this. Once again Look brings all the excitement of London Fashion Week to the ordinary woman and The Look Show is now firmly established on the London Fashion Week calendar.”
