BIGGER AND BETTER WHAT DIGITAL CAMERA
March 21, 2007
What Digital Camera today announces the launch of a new look, size and competitive price, following its assimilation of another successful IPC Media photography title What Camera?
The relaunch sees a raft of exciting developments including:-
- An increase in pagination, making What Digital Camera the biggest photography magazine in the UK. The magazine goes from 140 to a massive 200 pages per month
- A new competitive price of £3.99
- A new look incorporating fresh, modern fonts, vibrant colours and stunning photography, creating a more contemporary magazine with a lifestyle edge
- A quality 20-page pull-out magazine in every issue. This will be an invaluable resource for readers to collect, focusing on a range of core areas including landscapes, travel and nature
There will also be a whole host of new sections, building on
What Digital Camera's reputation as the most respected and authoritative magazine in the marketplace. These include:-
- An all new 32-page Buyers Guide the biggest in the market
- A community section where readers can road test the latest equipment, send in photos and hints and comment on each others photos
- New lens and accessories tests
All of which will make the magazine more accessible to beginners and enthusiasts alike.
Editor Nigel Atherton says: It's definitely a bold strategy to integrate two already successful magazines but the fact that we will now easily be the biggest magazine in the market and amongst the cheapest, signals excellent value for money for our audience. Similarly, the fresh new look and the increased emphasis on community and reader interaction is going to open the magazine up to an even wider audience, so we are expecting big success.
The new
What Digital Camera is on sale now.
