countrylife.international Country Life launches the first autumn and winter edition of its
International Property number

Country Life – the voice of the British countryside – will launch the first autumn and winter edition of its International property special on Thursday 19 October.

Now published three times a year, Country Life International is the definitive guide to the world's most beautiful holiday and property destinations.

The 85-page autumn and winter edition, which is free with the October 19 issue of Country Life, reveals the top ten overseas property buys, explores the Western shores of the Mediterranean with some help from sailing guru Rod Heikell, and quizzes Olympic downhill skier Chemmy Alcott and other ski pros to discover the coolest skiing resorts with the hottest property markets.

It also carries an extensive selection of exclusive homes priced €1million or more, making it unique among overseas property publications currently available in the UK.

Editor Carla Passino says: “At this time of the year, cooler weather and shorter days often spark the desire to move or travel to warmer climates. The new autumn and winter edition of Country Life International – which provides an inspirational guide to the world's most beautiful holiday and property destinations – addresses this seasonal need to escape.”

Houses featured in the issue include a rare Greek Revival mansion on
Gramercy Park in New York (for sale at a staggering $16.9 million) and a 12th century Castillo in Spain's Costa Brava – complete with museum, library and wine cellar – which is on the market for €7 million.

Country Life International, which is perfect bound, will be available free with the October 19 issue of Country Life. It will also be distributed at financial corporations, in first class carriages on Heathrow Express, and in five star country club hotels and golfing venues nationwide. It will also be available for sale on the Country Life website (www.countrylife.co.uk) and directly from the publisher 020 7261 7008 for £3.50.
