HORSE INTRODUCES NEW LOOK

September 13, 2006

Horse Sep06 Horse, the magazine for serious leisure riders, is unveiling a brand new look with a special bumper issue, out on September 14.

The new look encompasses a brighter bolder cover with a new magazine logo and a fresh modern feel. It also sees the introduction of a number of new features in the magazine with an increased focus on its readers.

New features include:

  • Celebrity training exercise – top riders and trainers pick one exercise that will help readers improve their riding – kicking off with Tim Stockdale in the first new look issue
  • Horse heroes – showcases famous horses, past and present – beginning with show jumping legend, Milton.
  • Groom's column – award-winning groom Alison Pocklington of the Yorkshire Riding Centre gives an insight into life on a busy yard
  • Out and about – capturing readers on camera doing what they love most - spending time with their horses.
  • Real life – readers get to share their stories and experiences - in the first new look issue one reader tells of her horse's battle for life against a rare tumour
  • Horse of a Lifetime – a new competition in which Horse searches for a horse in a million to crown Horse of a Lifetime.

Plus, Horse will still be bringing readers their favourite features, including masterclass training features, celebrity interviews, tried and tested product reviews, news reports and the ever popular Question and Answer section with Horse's very own equine experts.

Horse editor Jo Pyatt says: “We get a lot of feedback about our high quality content but we felt that this information could be presented in a way which will make the magazine even easier to enjoy."

"We have given Horse a fresh and modern look, as well as bringing readers some exciting new features."

The bumper new look issue is on sale September 14, priced £3.20.
