IPC ADVERTISING APPOINTS RICHARD WHITTLE TO DIGITAL CORPORATE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ROLE

RichardWhittle.Nov07 IPC Advertising today announces the appointment of Richard Whittle to the new role of corporate business development manager (digital).

Formerly digital planning director at media agency Initiative, he reports directly to Ian Tournes, IPC Advertising's group trading director.

Richard brings with him eight years of digital agency experience, along with a real understanding of the role of digital in the wider media mix. At Initiative he worked to put interactive media at the heart of the agency's offering, consulting with an array of clients on their web marketing strategy. He was also integral to the development of the agency's creative offering, LAB.

Richard's new role at IPC sees him working centrally in the corporate business development team to ensure the most positive development of the agency/client relationship across all facets of IPC's business.

Ian Tournes says: “Richard brings some great digital thinking to the team and gives IPC additional strategic digital vision. Given the wealth of digital development across the IPC portfolio over the last year – including major launches like www.goodtoknow.co.uk and www.housetohome.co.uk – his arrival is perfectly timed!”
