September 26, 2006

PickmeupPuzzles IPC Connect today announces a new partnership with Seven Publishing, to launch a series of spin-off puzzle titles from the hugely successful real life weekly, Pick Me Up.

The first in the series – Pick Me Up Puzzles – launches on October 26 and builds on all the favourites from Pick Me Up 's innovative and popular puzzle pages. The new monthly title will reinvigorate the puzzle sector and introduce new readers to the market through its unique and colurful mix of puzzles, cash and prizes.

Pick Me Up is the biggest women's weekly launch in over a decade, posting an impressive 445,098 at the last round of ABC's. Pick Me Up's upbeat, vibrant, fun style delivers an intense package of real life stories and puzzles that sparkle with originality and warmth every week.

Simon Denny, publisher of Pick Me Up, says: “We are delighted to be working with Seven Publishing in this next phase of Pick Me Up 's brand development. Pick Me Up has brought in a new generation of readers to the real life sector and this partnership will achieve the same in the puzzle market.”

Established in 2003, and with award-winning magazines in both consumer and contract markets, Seven has an impressive portfolio – including deliciously different food magazine, Delicious, plus twenty-two puzzle titles covering all sectors of the puzzle market.

Seamus Geoghegan, group managing director of Seven Publishing, says: “Having successfully established our own Seven Puzzles, we are delighted to extend our expertise further in this marketplace with Pick Me Up Puzzles. It's an innovative off-shoot bringing together in a handy format a lively range of puzzles in the characteristically fun style of Pick Me Up magazine.”

Pick Me Up Puzzles is on sale October 26, priced £1.60.
