IPC Connect today announces the launch of Reality TV Now, a spin-off title from its hugely successful celebrity magazine Now.
Reality TV Now – the first ever special issue devoted to reality TV and the latest issue in the Now Specials Series – features all the best from this summer's reality TV, including news, gossip and interviews with stars of the shows.
Inside the first issue of Reality TV Now, notorious playboy and former Love Island star Calum Best gives an exclusive interview, and friends and family of this year's Big Brother favourite, Pete, explain what makes him so loveable and why he deserves to win. Other highlights include the reality TV rich list, the worst ever reality shows revealed and a stunning fashion shoot with Love Island's Lady Isabella Hervey.
The new 100-page magazine costs £2.25 and is edited by Now's deputy editor, Jeremy Mark.
Jeremy says: “Reality TV Now is a totally original idea – it's the UK's first ever magazine devoted entirely to celebrating reality TV and its stars. With so many brilliant reality shows, such as Big Brother, Love Island and The X-Factor, on TV this summer, it made absolutely perfect sense to add Reality TV Now to our already hugely successful series of Now branded one shots.”
Now publishing director Andrew Sumner adds: “Now is famed for its finger-on-the-pulse, cutting-edge TV coverage - Jeremy and his team deliver eye-popping exclusives week after week and that's just the tip of the reality TV iceberg. Reality TV Now is an inspired brand extension that launches at the perfect moment – our readers are crying out for a whole magazine devoted to their favourite summer shows!”
The issue will also include quizzes and puzzles for readers to determine how big a reality fan they really are and a competition with the chance to win famous items from the BB house – plus five pairs of exclusive VIP tickets to this year's Big Brother final on August 18!
Reality TV Now goes on sale August 7 for six weeks.
Other titles in the Now Specials Series include Teen Now, Diet Now and Style Now.
