Following a thorough review of its digital operations, IPC Media has chosen ad 2-one to represent its growing portfolio of mainstream consumer websites. In a competitive pitch, ad 2-one secured the multi-million pound IPC digital account after a successful two year period representing IPC ignite! titles such as NME, Loaded and Nuts. Now, ad 2-one will also conduct online ad sales on behalf of online publications for IPC SouthBank (including Marie Claire, Ideal Home and Livingetc), IPC Connect (including Now and Pick Me Up) and tx (including TVTimes).
As well as online ad sales, ad 2-one is deepening its relationship with IPC's digital publications, providing additional services such as training, ad serving and consultancy. This closer working relationship means that ad 2-one will be closely involved in the transition of major IPC brands online.
Tim Brooks, managing director of IPC ignite!, who led the review, said: “We have big plans for IPC online, and are very pleased to extend our relationship with ad 2-one. They have done a fine job for us on the ignite! portfolio and their growth in recent years means that our development programme can benefit from their undoubted online skills and experience.”
Grant Allaway, director at ad 2-one added, “IPC media have fantastic online brands that offer advertisers loyal users and trusted editorial environments across a wide range of market sectors. The deeper relationship now established between our organisations means that IPC will benefit from improved revenue growth throughout their online portfolio.”
