IPC MEDIA TO HOST DRUPAL FOR PUBLISHERS EVENT

August 4, 2010

IPC Media, publisher of more than 85 iconic media brands, is hosting the next Drupal London event, Drupal Focus on Publishers, on 13 August.

Aimed at developers working in the publishing industry, the half-day event is free to attend and will focus on the benefits and challenges of using Drupal in publishing. Attendees will learn from other publisher's experiences, be able put questions to the experts and connect with the London Drupal community.

In addition to an introduction to Drupal, sessions include a mix of technical talks, such as professional Drupal site building, and industry case studies including the re-launch of IPC's www.look.co.uk.

Kelly Waters, IPC Media web technology director, says: “Drupal has played an important part in the development of some of IPC's websites and has many benefits for the publishing industry. We're really excited to be hosting this Drupal London event at IPC and hope to see many of the London Drupal community.”

The Drupal Focus on Publishers event will take place on 13 August from 1pm until 5pm in IPC's headquarters, the Blue Fin Building. A full listing of presentations and booking information can be found at http://dfpublishers2010.eventbrite.com/.
