IPC Southbank has launched a website for bridal magazine Wedding, providing inspiring content and imagery online for brides-to-be.
www.weddingmagazine.co.uk will feature galleries of beautifully shot wedding dresses, bridesmaid's dresses and outfits for the groom, plus cakes, flowers, venues and honeymoon destinations. There will be informative features on gift lists and wedding receptions, and polls and competitions, as well as a directory of wedding businesses, which visitors can search by region and type.
weddingmagazine.co.uk will be edited by Kate Smallwood, Wedding's associate editor / web editor. Kate's previous wedding industry experience includes time as content editor for confetti.co.uk and senior editorial positions for You & Your Wedding and Wedding Day. Kate also presents The Wedding Experts on Wedding TV.
Kate Smallwood says: “Wedding is a fantastic resource for planning the perfect wedding and I'm delighted that brides-to-be can now access our expertise and inspirational images at the click of a mouse.”
Faith Hill, publisher of Wedding, adds: “This is a great development for Wedding. Weddingmagazine.co.uk will emulate the glamorous and modern style of the magazine and will be a popular online destination for visitors and advertisers alike.”
The launch of weddingmagazine.co.uk will be supported by advertisements in IPC Media's fashion and beauty magazines, including In Style, Look, Marie Claire and Hair, and there will be prominent editorial and advertising support in Wedding. The launch will also be promoted digitally with an email campaign, paid search and banners on IPC websites such as nowmagazine.co.uk, livingetc.co.uk and marieclaire.co.uk.
Future development of weddingmagazine.co.uk will include the addition of forums.
