SYLVIA AUTON TO RETURN TO IPC MEDIA AS CEO AND EVELYN WEBSTER TO TAKE UP POSITION WITH TIME INC IN NEW YORK

EvelynWebster_SylviaAuton Following four years as Executive Vice President Time Inc, Sylvia Auton is returning to the UK and will resume her duties as CEO of IPC Media, effective 1st January 2011. She will remain as Chairman of IPC Media.

Evelyn Webster, CEO of IPC Media, is to move to the US as EVP, Lifestyle Division reporting to Jack Griffin, CEO Time Inc, also effective on 1 January.

Sylvia says: “I'm really looking forward to working once more with the IPC Media board to lead this fantastic company and its people and build on the great work that has been done over the last two years.”

Evelyn says: “I am thrilled to have been offered the opportunity to join Time Inc's senior team as EVP of the Lifestyle Division. My 18 years at IPC have been a privilege, especially the last 20 months as CEO when I have been able to lead such a strong team during our transformation into a truly multi-platform company. I know IPC has a great future, and in Sylvia, I couldn't be handing it back to a better leader. “
