IPC Country & Leisure Media (CALM) motoring title VW GOLF+ is entering 2007 with an extensive redesign and change of title – to Volkswagen GOLF+ – with its February issue, following solid year-on-year sales growth.
The new look and content will see the monthly title's Volkswagen GOLF+ masthead confidently spanning the top width of the cover, emblazoned with its www.thegolf.co.uk web address, and punctuated by a striking, sexy 'cut edge' plus symbol.
The title will still be packed full of all the latest sporting and performance water-cooled Dubs news and views – be they from parent company VW, or its sibling companies SEAT, Audi and Skoda (VAG range).
There will also be a greater emphasis on reader input, focussing on their desires and aspirations. Now the coolest feature cars and content from Britain and the world will be delivered with a healthy dollop of wit and attitude.
And while it will still satisfy the demanding needs of its hard-core Dub-loving readership, the reinvented Volkswagen GOLF + is now well placed to tap into a larger chunk of the greater, mainstream popular culture market with more personal owner profiles, advice on getting the look and expert advice from the editorial team.
Readers can also expect to find a series of new design elements including a new improved layout, producing more room for pictures, a cleaner clearer font and larger margins to make it easier for readers to navigate around the pages.
The redesign will also see changes to the classified pages of the magazine, expanding the section and incorporating buying guides for each marque of Golf.
