Woman & Home, IPC SouthBank's monthly glossy for women over 35, is to publish Woman & Home Christmas Food, the magazine's first one-shot in its 80-year history. The 156-page bookazine is a special collection of the magazine's favourite recipes for the Christmas holiday season.
Woman & Home Christmas Food contains over 100 recipes, including inspirational ideas from celebrity chefs such as Delia Smith, Nigella Lawson, Gordon Ramsay and Rick Stein. It covers everything from cocktails and nibbles and the classic Christmas lunch to cakes, bakes and glorious desserts. Wine ideas, provided by wine bible Decanter, are interspersed throughout.
Woman & Home Christmas Food is edited by food editor Jane Curran. She says: Woman & Home readers love to entertain and we're always inundated with requests for recipes we've featured in previous years. Readers will love this Christmas food guide, bringing together all our favourite recipes for the holidays.
Publisher Glenda Marchant adds: In keeping with Woman & Home, this Christmas Food one-shot looks fantastic, with beautifully designed pages, striking photography and delicious recipes. We're confident it will be enjoyed by current readers as well as bringing the Woman & Home brand to a new audience.
Woman & Home Christmas Food will be promoted with advertisements in Woman & Home and on its website, womanandhome.com. An email campaign and direct mail to Woman & Home's subscribers will also support the launch.
Woman & Home Christmas Food goes on sale nationwide in Sainsbury's and WH Smith on 19 October, priced £3.95.
