Charlie Meredith

Charlie is managing director of IPC Advertising and oversees all IPC's central advertising and divisional trading teams. Charlie was previously managing director of Central Operations where he was responsible for the majority of central operations including IPC Direct, the direct marketing division; IPC Plus, the syndication and licensing division; Production; and Property/Facilities. Charlie was appointed to the IPC Media board in February 2009 as managing director of our market-leading TV entertainment brands. Since Charlie joined IPC soon after the launch of What's on TV in 1992, he has held a number of senior editorial and then publishing roles, including business director across the TV entertainment brands portfolio. Named publishing director of What's on TV in 2004, he developed one of the biggest brands in UK publishing into the digital space with the launch of the rapidly growing popular TV site www.whatsontv.co.uk. Charlie also was also the publishing director behind the launch of TV easy, the UK's first compact TV weekly, in 2005.
