Danny John Casely, Senior Publishing Executive, Decanter

What do you love about working here at IPC?
I came to IPC as a temp for Decanter Magazine having left the British Army after 10 years of service. When I started I was only supposed to be at Decanter for a week and somehow managed to stay! I began my time with the magazine assisting them with the move from their Fulham base to the Blue Fin Building. My role is currently Senior Publishing Executive for Decanter, which is a challenge I enjoy and I am backed up by a fantastic close-knit team. IPC is a really supportive employer with various employee benefits. The Blue Fin Building provides such an amazing working environment and I think we are really fortunate to have this.

What do you have for breakfast before starting your working day?
On walking through Borough market on the way to work I love to pick up an organic raspberry yoghurt from Neal's Yard Dairy (delicious!)

What did you want to do when you were five years old?
I can't remember! I've asked my mother and she says that I wanted to be a dragon slayer! Apparently, I was addicted to Dungeons and Dragons on TV.

What has been your greatest career moment so far?
On the last day of wearing the uniform of the Coldstream Guards I was asked to read the lesson at the Christmas Carol service held for Her Majesty The Queen at the Guards Chapel Birdcage Walk.

What would be your dream job?
I have a fantastic job which I love, how could it be better...
